Instructor Courses
Fundamentals of Instructor Training
This training is the prerequisite for all Instructor Courses offered by the American Red Cross. The course includes instruction on record keeping and class administration, teaching skills, and American Red Cross history. A condensed version of this course is designed for educational professionals.
First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Course
Upon sucessful completion the instructor will be authorized to demonstrate the characteristics required of an American Red Cross representative and role model, teach the components of First Aid, CPR and Automated External Defribillator (AED) skills and the Injury Control Modules within the Workplace Training program, and be able to customize courses and modules to meet specific training needs of employers and employees. Student will also receive certification in Fundamentals of Instructor Training. Prerequisite: must be 17 years old.

Babysitters Instructor Course
Upon completion of this course participants will become certified to instruct in all three of these youth programs. Student will also receive certification in Fundamentals of Instructor Training.
Fee: $125.00
Basic HIV/AIDS Fundamentals Instructor Course
The Basic HIV/AIDS Fundamentals Instructor course covers etiology and epidemiology; transmission and infection control; social and psychological issues and develop age appropriate presentation curriculums. You then will be able to provide your community or workplace the opportunity to openly discuss the facts, social issues and help people develop and practice skills to protect themselves about HIV/AIDS. Prerequisites: Must be 17 years old and have completed self-study facts test.
